I have just noticed by chance, on a suggestion by YouTube, that somebody else has published a video of myself playing at Fiumicino Airport.
Very fun! Mi è appena capitato di notare, grazie ad un suggerimento di YouTube, che qualcun altro ha pubblicato un video dove sono filmato mentre suono il pianoforte dell'Aeroporto di Fiumicino. Molto divertente, e sempre piacevole. On Saturday 2nd December 2017 I played in the Conservatory Giuseppe Nicolini, in Piacenza (Italy), where I studied when I was a young guy. A concert to introduce "Il Piacerino", the 2017 Christmas gift box by Oltre l'Autismo Onlus. It was a fantastic experience. Never I would have thought about the possibility of playing, and playing my music, in the magnificent main hall of this Conservatory. It was a honour and a privilege. Elisabetta Fanzini (violin) played with me a couple of pieces. This event was also attended by my producer Mario "Get Far" Fargetta and M° Corrado Casati, Director of the Choir of Teatro Municipale di Piacenza, who presented a fantastic performance together with three fantastic opera singers. Sabato 2 dicembre 2017 ho suonato presso il Conservatorio Giuseppe Nicolini di Piacenza, dove ho studiato organo e composizione organistica. Un breve concerto per presentare "Il Piacerino", il cofanetto regalo del Natale 2017 di Oltre l'Autismo Onlus, che contiene anche una copia del mio cd "Dentro la Sera". Non avrei mai immaginato di avere la possibilità di suonare, e suonare la mia musica, nella magnifica sala da concerti di questo conservatorio. E' stato un vero onore e privilegio. Con me, per suonare un paio di brani, Elisabetta Fanzini (violino). All'evento hanno anche partecipato il mio produttore, Mario "Get Far" Fargetta, ed il M° Corrado Casati, Maestro del Coro del Teatro Municipale di Piacenza, che insieme a tre meravigliosi cantanti lirici ha presentato un'esibizione divertente e spettacolare.

Thanks to Maria Grazia Ballerini, Angelo Anfini, Davide Maloberti and Umberto Fornasari, for organizing this great event, to Galleria Alberoni for hosting us, and to Giampiero Cellini for not getting too annoyed with us. Practicing in Sala Arazzi for the 4th November 2017 Concert On Saturday 21st October 2017 we had our first session of practicing in Sala Arazzi for the "Dentro la Sera" - 4th November 2017 Concert for Oltre l'Autismo Onlus. A magnificent location! It will be a honour and a privilege to have the opportunity of performing in such a wondrous place. In these clips I am with Elisabetta Fanzini, violin. Sabato 21 ottobre 2017 abbiamo svolto la prima sessione di prove nella Sala Arazzi (Piacenza) per il concerto "Dentro la Sera", del 4 novembre 2017. Una sala magnifica! Sarà un onore e un privilegio potersi esibire in una location così meravigliosa. In questi video, Elisabetta Fanzini al violino.
Improvised performance at Fiumicino, again "Dentro la Sera" and "Piccola Stella" (here are the final parts). I played both pieces at the Fiumicino Airport again. This was filmed by a colleague of mine. The pleasure of an improvised performance, with unexpected audience. "Dentro la Sera" e "Piccola Stella" (qui i finali) suonati ancora nel corridoio B dell'Aeroporto di Fiumicino (il tutto ripreso da un collega): il piacere di una performance estemporanea, con un pubblico estemporaneo.
My hit of these days: “What About Us” by Pink (P!nk). This is a song by the American singer and songwriter Pink. It was written by Pink, Steve Mac and Johnny McDaid, with production handled by Mac. The song was released on 10th August 2017, as the lead single from Pink's upcoming seventh studio album, Beautiful Trauma (2017). I like very much Pink (Alecia Beth Moore) and her never trivial songs, starting from Try and Don’t Let Me Get Me. What About Us is a very beautiful song, with great music, production and sounds. The lyrics could be perceived as addressing anything from a turbulent relationship to the current political climate (in particular current US political climate...). I love it. |
